Beverley Ann Rice Bremner was my maternal Aunt and Godmother. She always remembered me on my birthday, in early years with a visit and a gift and in later years with a card and a phone call to my home in Toronto. On the night of April 3rd 1974, Aunt Bev came to our house for my 16th birthday, despite horrific weather conditions! That was the night a tornado destroyed The Windsor Curling Club, taking many lives. Aunt Bev and I never ever forgot that night and spoke of it often over the years. On this past April 3rd, I called Aunt Bev for my birthday as she was no longer able to for the very first time! I had the opportunity one last time to tell her that I loved her. We will ALL miss Aunt Bev ! May she rest in love and peace. Greg Windsor Toronto
