Obituary of Anne Marion Ratushny

RATUSHNY, Anne Marion (nee Pezuk) October 17, 1925 - February 27, 2012 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving and adored mother and "bapchi", Anne Ratushny. Anne was the "small but mighty rock" of our family. She always had time for us and made us feel special and loved no matter how busy, tired or ill she was. She taught us how to love and to be loved- the ultimate gifts! She loved to sing and dance with Dad and shared this love with us. Anne was a member of the National Executive for the Ukrainian Catholic Youth Organization, a lifetime member and past President of Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Women's League, a tireless supporter of the international dance company Echoes of Ukraine and carried a 200 average in her 10 pin bowling. Our "earth angel" is now our "heavenly angel". We will always celebrate her life and we thank God for the gift of her! Loving wife of her beloved Mike (2001). Cherished mother of Julianna and Bob Petruk, Joe and Karen Ratushny, Orisia and Rick Vittone and Michael (2008). Loving and adored "Bapchi" to Robert (Kristy), Taisa, Joey, Scott, Brianna, and Christopher. Survived by her most precious sister Mary (Sam) and sister-in-law Sophie. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Appolonia Pezuk, sisters Francis, Stella, Caroline and brother Danny. Fondly remembered and loved by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the caring staff and families at Banwell Gardens, the professional, attentive staff on 5N WRH, Met Campus and 3N Complex Care, Western Campus and the Riverside Place, Pelee Island healthcare staff. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
