Carter, Lorna Evelyn July 13, 1915 - February 28, 2012 I am ready for my journey, I have to leave, so bid me farewell. I only ask for last kind words and your blessing. So long my family and friends. My summons has come and I am ready for my journey. Beloved wife of the late Jack (John Earl) Carter (1988) Loving and loved mother of Norma and Pete Strong; Lynda and Bob Thibert; John (1974), and surviving wife Sue Carter; and Judith Beleutz. Adored grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 25, great--great grandmother of 12. Loving daughter to the late Asa and Ruby Shepley. Greatly admired sister of Glen (the late Helen), Asa (Marlene), Merle (Harriet) and Lyle (Gail) Shepley and Maxine (Sebastian) Gardin, and predeceased by siblings Claude (Emily), Ken (Virginia), Erwin (Mina) Shepley and Hazel (Roger) Buhler. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Verna Shepley and brother-in-law George Greenham. Loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Friday March 2,, 2012 at 11:30 am. In the Chapel.
