Obituary of Myron Drul
DRUL, Myron Apr. 1, 1921 - Feb. 21, 2012 A gentleman right to the end. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father on Tuesday Feb. 21, 2012 at 90 years young. Beloved husband and soul mate of Olly (nee Kowal) for 63 years. An amazing dad to Dolores (Toronto), Iris Reaume (Randy), and Deedo to granddog Tybo. Myron is survived by his brother Peter and the late Natha (2007). Predeceased by brothers Mike and wife Anne, Donald and surviving wife Stella, his sister Mary and husband Frank, and parents Alexander and Anna Drul. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Myron was an outstanding, active leader in the Ukrainian community. He was the past president of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and of the Ukrainian Businessman and Professionals. He was a superintendent of the Ukrainian Senior Citizen apartments in Amherstburg and a co-proprietor of the Michigan Tavern (LaSalle) from 1961 - 1979. E. on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (2000 Tecumseh Rd East) for Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Rt. Rev. Fr. Roman Trynoha officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. You will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts.
