Dad you were a man of few words but I fondly remember your nods of approval as well as looks of sternness when required. Although you didn't know much about my passion ,hockey ,as a child it meant so much to me knowing you stood in the corner watching me try my hardest. I will never forget, nor my teammates of years past, the smell of your cigar filling the air as we skated by. Your support of the sport you then carried over and never missed a Practise or game of your Grandsons, Liam and Logan. You were liked by everybody who meet you and your humbleness shined bright. When I worked as a student at GM transmission in the summers many told me how great a guy you were. You will be missed dearly and if you gaze down on apon me feel free to slap me in line when I fall off the beaten path, and to my boys.... Feel free to give then the Papa kiss when they need to be cheered up. I hope I have become the man you expected me to be and I hope I filled your shoes as I hoped. Bye Dad your were the best
