Obituary of Mildred May Marion
(nee Sivier)
It weights heavy on our hearts to announce the passing of our dearest Mildred on December 29, 2019 at the age of 94. Born in Windsor on September 29, 1925 to the late Walter Edward and Ethel Sivier. Life wasn't easy for Milly, losing her father 3 months before she was born. Then she lost her dear older brother Edward at the young age of 21. In 1945 she married her loving husband James Marion and over the next 10 years gave birth to her 4 sons. But life wouldn't allow her to go on without handing her another blow when in 1959 she lost the love of her life Jimmy. Milly wasn't a quitter though. She had been hardened by the troubles thrown in her path. In 1965 she was offered a position at the new GM Trim plant and determinedly went to work to provide a good life for her 4 sons. Over the next several decades she shared in many memorable Christmases with her family, watched as her sons grew to men and had families of their own; She became a grandmother and great grand-mother, sharing in all the many special occasions that make a life complete. Now Milly has reached the end of a full and rich life. Her troubles are behind her now. Our tears cannot express the grief of our loss and our memories of a truly exceptional mother will never disappear. Survived by her sons Edward (Sharon) Windsor, Gregory (Paula) Hemmet, California, Robert (Chris) Windsor, Richard (Tam) Windsor, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234. Condolences and memories may be shared on her Tribute Wall at www.windsorchapel.com
