Obituary of Flora Ann Gillies

Gillies, Flora Born on February 8, 1912, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2012 at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Ann Gillies; and brothers and sisters Janie and Lester Goodwin, Margaret and Samuel Gillis, Dan Willie and surviving wife Agnes, Mary and Al Young, John Archie and surviving wife Isabel, Murdoch and Sadie Gillies, Alex and surviving wife Mary Gillies, and Colin Joseph Gillies. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Flora was the primary care giver to the Bishops of Lansing Michigan. A sincere thank you to Extendicare Tecumseh, Sunrise Retirement, and the Dialysis Unit at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday February 3, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd. ) on Saturday February 4, 2012 from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
