Obituary of Mary Minello

MINELLO Mary Louise (nee Dominato) Passed away peacefully with family by her side, in God's arms on January 12, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of over 64 years to Renaldo. Loving mother of Dan Minello (Joanne), Alan Minello (Pat), Jim Minello (Patty), Bob Minello (Judy), Rosemary Olcsvary (Roy), Carolanne McClelland (Brian), and Diane Gyemi (Alex). Will be greatly missed by 20 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren, and will join Alex McClelland (2009) in Heaven. Dear sister to Tony Dominato, Dino Dominato and his late wife Annette, and Rita Dupuis and her late husband Ron. Dear sister-in-law of Laura Lemire and her late husband Jerry, and the late Norma Popovich and her surviving husband Lou. Mary was one of the founding members of the C.W.L. at St. Angela Merici Church, and Mary and Renaldo have been longtime and active members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mary was a graduate of Patterson Collegiate where she played basketball, and performed in school plays. Along with her many jobs, she was devoted to the raising of her 7 children, and was the number one fan of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary will be missed by many, and we thank her for the gift of compassion and faith she showed to so many in life.The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion shown to our family by all of the Staff of Windsor Regional Hospital, 3rd Floor-Critical Care Unit. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Sunday January 15, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 834 Raymo Road (at Wyandotte Street East) on Monday January 16, 2012 for visitation from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass to celelbrate Mary's life at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to The Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
