JENKINS, John William Passed away peacefully into the presence of God January 12, 2012 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Magdalene and predeceased by his late wife Kathleen Marie (Jan 29, 1999). Loving father to Gwendolyn and husband Abe Hamm of Mission B.C., Sylvia and husband Dr. Robert Halpert of Rochester, MI, Marnie and husband Edward Kolar of Windsor, and Eric and wife Marilyn Jenkins of Regina, Sask. Loving stepfather to Karl, Peter, Margaret (1999), and Giselle. Dear grandfather of Rachel, Greg, Derek, Heather Anne, Stephenie, Jane, Emily, Maggie, Robbie, James, Cathy, Kristen, Beth and Peroline. Great-grandfather to 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Edith Margerm (2005), Gladys Essex of New Jersey and Kathleen Erlandson of Minnesota. John was retired from Wyeth Ltd. Canada after a successful career. He was very active in the Pastoral Community,. He was an Elder at Open Bible Fellowship, a member of the Host Project Committee YMCA, Windsor Jail Pastoral Care Committee, and Huron Lodge Pastoral Care Committee, he was also a friend and mentor to many. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
