Obituary of Florence Louisa Barichello

BARICHELLO, Florence (nee Bortolon) April 2, 1935 - January 1, 2012 A saint died today "My Mud" Florence Marie-Louise surrounded by the love of her daughter at her bedside. She has left us too soon to be with my dad Celso and brother Gino in heaven. Daughter of Oliva and sister to Olga and brother Harry. She leaves behind her devoted and loving daughter Julianna, son-in-law Gary, dedicated niece Christina and daughter-in-law Karen. Nonna and matriarch to her grandchildren Sarah, Lee-Anne, Chantel and Steven. Many nieces, nephews and great-granchildren. Dear sister-in-law to Teresio and Agnes, Gilbert and Anna, Rena and the late Tulio, Joan and the late Guiseppe, Maria and the late Eliseo of Argentina. Florence's career at Riverview Hospital as a Nurse's Aide continued far beyond her years with her nurturing and loving ways. She never hesitated to give a compliment or tell you like it is (with a smile). A perfectionist at heart, her passion for "do it yourself" projects often found her at Home Depot for the latest tools so she could work or "supervise" her guardian neighbours Randy and Debbie who referred to her as "Flo-Joe". Florence quickly became a mother to all who come to know her and soon became known to all as Mrs. "B". Everybody wants her, everybody loves her. E. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
