My deep condolences to you, Brian and Joy, at the loss of your mother. This is Rick Thachuk. Brian, we were best of friends for many years throughout school. I still have fond memories of our maintaining law and order as patrols on the school bus, and then tearing up the soybean fields later in the evening on our trail bikes. I’m currently living in Southern Brazil where I have been for the last 14 years. My mother saw the obituary and passed the info to me. I remember your mother as always being a cheery and energetic person. I hope that you and Joy find the strength and peace to pass through this difficult moment. Take good care of yourselves.
