Obituary of Vincent Joseph Anderson

ANDERSON, Vincent Joseph "Mr. Vince" Passed away peacefully on October 31, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Dear brother to the late Claude Anderson and Yvonne Williams. Will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Beverley Niemi, Barbara Jacobson, Caroline, Dick and Dale Neveu, Ken, Jean, Ron, Patricia Anderson, and Bill and Paul Williams, his dear friends Paul Lefaive, Simon Stroia and many other relatives and acquaintances. Vince was a veteran of WWII, a charter member of Iron Workers Local 700, and Local 25, in Detroit Michigan since 1937. Vince touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with over the years, especially the less fortunate. He was very kind, caring, compassionate and a generous man. The family wish to express a heartfelt thanks to Oak Park LaSalle, and to Royal Oak Kingsville for their compassion and care for Vincent. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday November 3, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. Prayers 7 pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. Alphonsus Church (85 Park Street East) on Friday November 4, 2011 from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
