LIBURDI, Benedetto It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend at the age of 76 years, Benedetto Liburdi on October 12, 2011. Much loved husband of Filomena (nee Savone) with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Caring father of Nick Liburdi and wife Ornella, and Anna Rita Luiso and husband Frank. Adored Nonno of Adrian and Erica Luiso. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Francesca Liburdi. Cherished brother of Giuseppe and wife Margherita, the late Vincenzo (1986) and wife Vincenza, the late Michele (2000) and wife Rosanna (2011), Francesco and wife Antonia, the late Mario (2004) and wife Michelina, Giovanna Liolli and husband Angelo, and Tommaso and wife Bonnie. Brother in law of Angelina Pizzutti and late husband Luigi, and Salvatore Savone and wife Loredana. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, October 14, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
