Obituary of Frank Braun

BRAUN, Frank Passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family on August 9, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Born in Karlsdorf, Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada in 1950. Beloved husband of 57 years to Elizabeth (nee Lux). Loving father to Rosemary Villemaire and husband Claude, and predeceased by Betty Ann Dube (2001) and survived by son in-law Timothy. Frank adored his grandchildren Kristin and Lauren Villemaire, and Rachel and Chantelle Dube. Predeceased by his parents Karl (1945) and Anna Braun (1991). Cherished brother to the late Anna Nagele (1982). Dear brother in-law to Annie and Rick Chapman. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Family has always been very important to him. Frank was the owner of Frank's Barber Shop for over 40 years. He was an Usher and Eucharistic Minister for Holy Name Society of St. Michael's German Church and also a Member of Rt. Rev. Wilfrid J. Langlois Assembly Council #1789 4th Degree, the Riverside K of C Council #4924 and also a Member of the Teutonia Club of Windsor. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9. Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council #4924 prayers at 7:00 p.m. followed by 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Rt. Rev. Wilfird J. Langlois Assembly #1789. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to meet at St. Michael's German Church (2153 Parkwood Ave. off Tecumseh Rd E.) on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
