Obituary of Joan Mary Lariviere

LARIVIERE, Joan (nee Ouellette) Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2011 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital. Dear wife of the late Robert (1990). Loving mother to Steven (Rhonda), Susan, Bill (Sue), and Linda. Dear grandmother to Leanna, step-grandmother to Richard, Ashly and Robbie. Daughter of the late Alexander and Elsie Ouellette. Dear sister to the late Jeanne Ouellette (1999). Sister-in-law to Jerry, Betty, Leo, Joyce, Rita, and Al. Survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joan loved to Bowl and did so for over 30 years in many different leagues. Joan donated a lot of her time doing fund raising for the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Metropolitan Hospital and Hotel Dieu-Grace for their great care of our mother. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
