Obituary of William Harold Hinds

HINDS, William Harold "Bill" Passed away peacefully on May 4, 2011 at Richmond Terrace Nursing home in Amherstburg at the age of 92 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Ruth (nee Rau) (2009). Loving father to Carol Farkas and late husband Ron and Jo-Anne Kettlewell and husband Ron. Cherished grandfather to Matthew Lidkea and wife Brodie, Jason Lidkea, Julie Wakeman and husband Ryan and Aaron Kettlewell and wife Erin. Great-grandfather to Boston, Gwenyth, Indianna, Maddilyn. Dear brother to the late Ida Morris and Rita Renaud. Dear brother in-law to Eileen McLaughlin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill was a former employee of Wonder Bakery and retired from Sears Canada. Bill was a Veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force and also a member of the Westminister United Church. According to Bill's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
