To the Fioret Family. Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss of Bill, your dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and great-grandfather. For 10 years of my life, almost 35 years ago now, I lived next door to you, and I spent virtually every waking moment of that time with Patrick. Back in the days where there was no fence between the yards to keep the dogs in, where there was first Sandy, then Daisy roaming the yards, barking at us as we enjoyed the backyard pool, played road hockey and basketball, amongst everything else. About the only time we were separated was when it was time for Patrick to practice his drums, which I can still remember hearing him from within our house as he turned on the radio and played along. My most edible memories of Bill, above all else, was his most hardy and infectious laugh and his love to sing. I recall like it was yesterday, outside on the patio on summer evenings, or around the yellow bricked barbeque/firepit, with your family & close friends visiting and having a few beers, Bill's great laugh prevailing over all the other laughter, then a little later in the evening, the sounds of the guitar and singing would take over and culminate the evening. Other times, it may have been Bill alone outside, singing songs in Italian that I could not understand, but brought a calming, peaceful ambience to the evening. These were the sounds of my childhood, sounds of friendship, sounds of home. What a unique gift it was. What a unique gift he was. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but I am particularly sorry your family must endure this under these extraordinary circumstances. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Bruce Parent
