Obituary of Ted Clarke

CLARKE, S. Ted Passed away peacefully on April 23, 2011 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 102. Reunited with his beloved wife Marie Pauline (nee Deneau)(2000). Loving father to Virginia Szuch of Harrow and late husband Peter, Jim Clarke and wife Bev, Don Clarke and wife Debbie; both of Windsor. Cherished grandfather to Joanne Vandereerden and husband John, Susan Dixon and husband Dave, Tricia Kosikar and husband Mike, and Gary Clarke. Dear great-grandfather to Kaitlin, Lauren, Matthew, Stephanie, Melissa, James, Jackson, and McKayla. Dear brother to Anthony Clarke of Spain and predeceased by brothers Gerald, Bernard, Dennis, and David Clarke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ted retired from Chryslers with over 30 years of dedicated service and was a member of C.A.W. Local 444 and an Honourary lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop T. Kidd, Council #4924. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes (Walkerville Unit) for their compassionate care provided to Ted and his family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
