Obituary of Donald Nelson Prieur

PRIEUR Donald Nelson Passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday-April 24, 2011 at Huron Lodge Home For Seniors at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Rusling). Dear Dad of Heather and husband John Tarnowski of LaSalle; Lisa Marie and husband Anthony Palmeri, of Windsor. Dear "Papa" of Drew and Kayla Tarnowski, Chiara and Matteo Palmeri, and a NEW Palmeri Grandchild arriving soon. Dear sister of Madeleine Caputo , Geraldine and husband Robert Forestell; Ed and wife Connie Prieur; Mae and husband Dan Clifford; Betty and husband Dave Palmer; the late Harold and Teresa Prieur, and the late Rose Bechard and surviving husband Clarence. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Dear son-in-law of Ruby Rusling of Windsor.Dear brother-in-law of Wendy and husband James Callard, and Ken and wife Beverly Rusling. Mr. Prieur was retired following more than 30 years of service at Chrysler Canada, was a member of the Alhambra, a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for over 30 years, and a former member of the K of C. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East 519-253-7234 on Wednesday April 27, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 28, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Church (3707 Queen St. at Prince Rd.) for visitation from 10:00 am until time of funeral mass to celebrate Don"s life, at 11:00 am.
