ERENT, Katherine (Katie) (nee Oreskovich) Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late John Erent (March 12, 2011). Loving Mother to Caroline Shalton and predeceased by daughter Gail Beer (1999) and surviving husband Mike. Cherished Baba to John Shalton, Sharon Seguin (Richard), Jeffery Shalton (Laura). Great-grandmother to R.J., Connor, Tyler, Victoria and Evan. Dear sister to Mary Yamich and late husband Tony and Marko Oreskovich and wife Pat. Dear sister in-law to Martin Erent and wife Milly of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Katie was a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
