I worked with Charlotte at CBC Windsor (it will always be Channel 9 to me) in the mid-80's. I was a cub reporter and Charlotte was my lineup editor and one of the greatest writers I ever had a chance to work with. I moved away from Windsor many years ago but I returned for a few weeks last year to complete training at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital in my new career as a Physician Assistant, and I caught up with Charlotte at the CBC Retiree's Christmas party. She told me all about Lily and how happy she was to be a grandmother. It was so great to catch up on all the news with her, and I'm even more grateful now that I had that chance to see her again. My deepest condolences to all of you - your mom was one class act!

Rod and Rosaline: I cannot tell you how saddened I am to read about Charlotte. She was a great co-worker and someon that you could trust. She was a loving mother and she and I shared great stories about our granddaughters. I will sorely miss seeing her at the CBC Christmas gatherings. I am sending my condolences from Florida. Dear family, I can't find the words to properly express my sorrow for your loss. Rod and Rosaline, I want you to know that Charlotte was very special to me... I loved her like a sister. Adelaide, Mark and Gillian, your mother will always have a special place in my heart . Charlotte was a wonderful human being, with a heart often too big. Dear Auntie Rosaline, Uncle Rod and Cousin Blair, One of my earliest memories of Charlotte was when we had a bath together at the house on Tecumseh, I think it was. Don't know how old we were but I can see her in my mind. Then I can recall her playing the trumpet, and she had some tears in her eyes because, for some reason, the notes didn't come out right. After that, I always felt protective about her. Then I can recall her talking about Jean Chretian coming to the studio for an interview and she thought he was so out-going and that Mark McGuigan was much too withdrawn. These are all memories of my cousin Charlotte that I treasure. Dan
