THOMAS, Joan Mary, Late of Woodstock (formerly of Windsor) After a lengthy illness, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Woodingford Lodge, in Woodstock in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Conrad Herman. Dear mother of Richard of Montreal and Peter (Margaret) of Woodstock. Loving grandmother to Alex of Quebec, William of Montreal, Matthew (Kim) of Baden and Michael (Leanne) of Woodstock. Loving great-grandmother to Paige, Julia (Woodstock) and Andrew (Baden) Joan was a retired teacher with the Windsor Board of Education. She enjoyed travelling and reading. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Internment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
