Obituary of Anthony LaSorda

LaSORDA, Anthony (Tony) July 24, 1954 - March 13, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of a loving husband, father, son, and brother as well as brother-in-law. Tony leaves behind his loving wife Joan (nee Melanson) and his two wonderful children, Allison and Eric LaSorda. His loving family, father Frank LaSorda and late mother Bernice (2010). Dear brother of siblings Joe (Kim), James (1969), twin brother Tom (Doreen), Angela, Anne (Rick) Bonneau, Joanne (Jim) Nicodemo, Fran, Daniel (2004). He also leaves behind his loving in-laws the Melanson family Vernon (1990), Frances (1984), Bob (Patty), Mike (Ann), Judy Norris (Graham), Tom, Steve (Helen) and Greg (Anne). Tony is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.. A Prayer Service for the immediate family and close friends will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Cremation to follow.
