Obituary of John Erent

ERENT, John Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2011, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 84 years. Beloved Husband for 63 years to Katherine (nee Oreskovich). Loving Father to Caroline Shalton and predeceased by daughter Gail Beer (1999). Cherished "Dida" to John Shalton, Sharon Seguin (Richard) Jeffery Shalton (Laura). Great-grandfather to R.J, Connor, Tyler, Victoria and Evan. Dear brother to Martin Erent and wife Milly of Tillsonburg, Ontario. John was a retired employee of Chryslers after many years of dedicated service, a member of C.A.W. Local 444, St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
