Obituary of Evelyn Alexina Girard

GIRARD, Evelyn (nee Vermette) Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2011, at the age of 69 years. Loving daughter of the late Eugene and Alma Vermette. Dear friend of Earl and Barb Girard. Much loved mother of Larry and wife Christine, the late Wayne, Jimmy and Terrie and daughter Michelle. Very devoted grandmother of Daniel, Derek, Dustin, Ryan, Macey, Wayde, Jordan and Cory. Survived by daughter-in-law Beth Girard and by sisters Connie (Marcel), Doris (Manley) and the late Kilo her four legged friend. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Evelyn was retired from Metropolitan Hospital, after many dedicated years of nursing. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 16, 2011, from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 12 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
