SHARPE, Joan (nee: Kelly) Passed quietly and peacefully at the age of 86 on Friday, March 4, 2011. Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England on July 31, 1924. Reunited with her husband, Norman (1991). Beloved Mother to Colin Sharpe and wife Shelley. Cherished Grandmother to Jordan and Seamus Fillingim. Dear sister to Edith Callister, Robert Kelly and the late Mona McKevitt. Sister-in-law to Elsie Bowe. Dear aunt to David Callister, Nadine Clark, Sandra Kelly, Kathryn Collis and Brenda Gomersall. Cousin to Bill Backhouse and his daughter Susan Ewen. Joan served in WWII in the British Armed Forces and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #201 (Essex).
