Obituary of Jadwiga Deren

DEREN Jadwiga (nee Szeller) Passed away peacefully with her children by her side, on Thursday February 24, 2011 at Aurora Resthaven, in Aurora, Ontario, at the age of 85 years. Formerly of Windsor, She is the beloved mother of Diane Bezpieczny and husband Paul, of Oakville, ON.,and Edward Deren and wife Guylaine, of Newmarket, ON. Proud babcia of Stephanie and husband Jay McDonald, Mark Bezpieczny; Adam, Bradley and Carissa Deren. Dear great grandmother of Jack McDonald. She is survived by her brother Zenon Szeller of Poland, and is pre-deceased by a brother and 4 sisters. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Poland. Jadwiga was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary-Polish Veterans Post 126, a longtime and faithful member of Holy Trinity Polish Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Womens League. She was a proud employee of Chrysler Canada for 30 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday March 1, 2011 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday March 2, 2011 at 9:30 am, then to Holy Trinity Polish Roman Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
