DURANTE, Umberto January 11, 1954 - February 3, 2011 Surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday February 3, 2011, at the tender age of 57. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Umberto Durante. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Tedesco) for 34 years. Loving father of Anna & Gino Piunno, Antonietta & Johnny Vespa, and Mario Durante. Cherished Nonno to Gianni, Daniel and Massimo. Son of Anna and the late Mario Durante. Brother to Lucia, Vincenza, Lucianno, Margerita, Liberata, Pina, Ida, Rosa and Carmela. Brother-in-law to Sam Tedesco, Maria & Vincenzo Cerroni, Tony & Marisa Tedesco, and Teresa & the late Tommaso Tedesco. Lovingly known as zio Umbi to many nieces and nephews. E. on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
