Obituary of Matilda Mlacak

MLACAK Matilda (nee Radosevic) Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday February 2, 2011 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mlacak. Linda and David will deeply miss their loving mother, as will Mari Lee, her daughter in law. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Lindsay, Ryan, and Lauren. Matilda will also be deeply missed by her brother Tony, her sister Jocelyn, her late brother, Frank, and by her neice and nephew, Courtney and Scott. She was an active member of the Croatian Community, and served as the first treasurer of Carousel. She was a 50 year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, and a member of the CWL at Most Precious Blood Church. She was also an active member of Aqua Fitness for many years. The family would like to thank Tilly's neighbors, Carol, Lou, Idella and her family for their care and friendship. She will also be missed by her close friends Olga, Joan, Freida, and Gabby. Thank you to Dr. Elfiki and his staff, to the nurses of St. Elizabeth, especially Lacey, and to the wonderful people at C.C.A.C., with special note to Debbie. The family will receive friends at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd., at Tecumseh Rd., East) on Monday February 7, 2011 for visitation at 9:30 am. The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated. Windsor Chapel Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
