Obituary of Ana Mihoren

MIHOREN, Ana (nee Jijianu) 83 years. Passed away peacefully on January 10, 2011 surrounded by her family. Loving and devoted wife to John for 64 years. Dear mother of Judy Lewchuk, Steven and Cher Mihoren, Janice and Gary Inkratas, Jerry and Bena Mihoren. Beloved grandmother of Jodi and Michael, Marcie and Bob, Cherie, Jamie, Christopher and Sara, Andrea, Shauna and Dave, and Lindsey. Dearest great-grandmother of Bradley, Brooke, and Isabella. Ana is survived by her brother Dan (Doreen) Miron. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Ana devoted her life to her family and church, touching so many with her compassion and generous heart. She was a tremendous cook, a gifted needleworker, and loved music and gardening. The family thanks the 4th floor staff at Hotel Dieu Grace who treated Ana with such kindness and dignity. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers 7:30 pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd. East) on Thursday January 13, 2011 from 9 am. until time of Funeral service at 10:00 am. Rev. Fr. George Sandulescu officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. Simeon Catau. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
