Obituary of William Franklin Gill

GILL, William Franklin (W.W.ll Veteran)(Lifelong Jr. Hockey Fan) Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Thursday January 6, 2011. Bill Gill of Barrie and formerly Windsor in his 98th year was the beloved husband of Jean Gill. Dear father of Leslie and his wife Jean of Santa Rosa CA., Douglas and his wife Valerie of Windsor, and Gary and his wife Terry of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Matthew Gill (Michelle), and Shawn Gill, all of Lions Head ON., Jenny-lynn Masselis (Jeff) of Toronto, Julie_Anne Gill and Daniel Gill of Windsor, and Kileen Gill and Emily Gill, of Barrie. Great Grandfather of 4 Great Grandchildren. Survived by his sister Elaine Purchase, of Paris, ON, Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Sunday January 9, 2011 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service Monday January 10, 2011 at 11:00 am in the chapel, Rev. Randy Covey officiating. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
