Obituary of Nikola Buric
BURIC, Nikola (Nick) Born in Krivi Put, Senj, Croatia. Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on January 2, 2011, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus surrounded by his wife and friends. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Jakica (nee Sardelic). Predeceased by parents Milan and Ruza Buric and brothers Ivan, Milan, Marko, Mate, Marijan, Jure and Stjepan Buric. Dear cousin to Marijan and Ankica Prpic of Burlington, Ont. Dear friend of Tina and Nikola Papac and family of Windsor. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, kumovi and friends in Canada, Croatia and Australia. Nikola was a retired carpenter and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church, Carpenters Union Local 494 ( U.B.C.J. A.) and the Croatian Centre. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, January 3, 2011, from 6 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday, January 4, 2011, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
