Obituary of Nancy Leone Bourdeau

BOURDEAU, Nancy Leone (Nee Neville) It is with gratitude to God for the gift of a beloved Wife, Mother and friend and with sorrow that the family of Nancy announce her death on December 29, 2010 in her 76th year. Late of Huron Lodge in Windsor Ontario and formerly of Patteson Ave., Chatham, Ontario. Born on March 18, 1934 in Wheatley, Ontario to the late Albert Neville and Magdalene (Wales) Neville. Baptized into Christ on the 13th day of May 1934 at Zion United Church. Nancy married her husband of 41 years John Richard "Dick" on September 5, 1964 at St. Michael's Church in Leamington. On December 29, 2006 Nancy was received into the Catholic Faith. Dick passed away February 25th, 2007. Dear mother of Rev. Fr. Christopher John Bourdeau. Nancy is survived by her brother William (Bill) and his wife Ruth Anne, her sister Mary and her husband Herb. Nancy is predeceased by her sister Joanne (Forrest). She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews and many loving friends and family. Nancy was a professional and licensed beautician (who trained at Ivan Sales in Windsor, Ontario). She loved people and was an example of kindness to all who came to know her. Her love of family and nature (any cat within a 10 mile radius of her house that she fed and her pond fish) endeared her to many. Her faith in Christ made it possible for her to endure cheerfully difficult times. She was the light of Dick's life and a joy to her son Chris. May this gentle, peaceful woman find rest in her heart of the Father. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, Ontario.
