Obituary of Anne Francis

Francis-Anne Theresa (nee Lucier) Passed away Sunday December 19, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 83 years. Former resident of Westgate Apartments, and Huron Lodge. Beloved wife of Harold John. Loving mother of Deanna (Joe) Paquette, the late Michael (1999) (Gisele) Pageau of Ottawa, Karen (George) Kryzaniwskyj of Cambridge, Ginger (Brian) Novakowski, Christopher (Anne) Pageau, Laurie (Jeff) Sinasac all of Windsor and "Auntie-Mom" to Irene Wogan Dear Grandma of Pauline, Carrie and Sharrie (nee Harren), Greg and Steven Pageau, Jennifer and Kimberly Kryzaniwskyj, Christopher, Jake and Gillian Novakowski and Michael Sinasac 4 Great Grand-daughters Ashley Lamoureux and the late Hope Burrell (2007), Geni and Chantelle Pare and 2 Great Grandsons, Eric Schroeder and Joel Hartman. Predeceased by brothers and sisters: Leo, Frank and Dennis (Lucier), Estelle (Knapp), Angela (Dubreiul), Rosalie (Vanier) and many nieces and nephews Step-Mother of Marilyn (Ron) Easton, London, Carol (Richard) Horn of New Market and the late Karen (2010) (Doug) Needham, Windsor.Step Grandchildren Mathieu Sinasac, Beth and Sharri Easton, Vicki and Kerri and Tony Horn and Mathew and Lauren Needham. Anne was a talented seamstress, baker and an "Internet Scrabble Champion" (having won over 4600 games online). Mom"s passion was her family and friends; she will be dearly missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Special thanks to the staff of Huron Lodge whom she had grown very fond of and who took tremendous care of our mother during her final days. A very special thanks to Kelly, who was Mom's adopted grandaughter. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday December 22, 2010 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Thursday December 23, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Rev. William Bradley officiating. Interment to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery in River Canard.
