Obituary of Anna Maria Antonel

ANTONEL, Anna Maria November 8, 1963- December 19, 2010. Beloved daughter of Onelia, and the late Antonio (2003). Little sister of Alfio Antonel and wife Shirley, Paul Antonel and wife Eva, and Marisa Coury and husband Tom. Beloved aunt of Dante, Nicole, Stephan, Alexandra, Michela, and Francesca. She will also be missed by Michael Coury, and Sarah Coury-Shaver. Anna lived her life with many challenges but in the process taught us much about what is truly important. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and Italy, as well as those who have had the privilege to be a part of her life at Malden Park Continuing Care Centre and Harmony In Action. She spoke of them so kindly on many occasions. Anna will be remembered for her love of her family, her passion for animals, stuffed toys, books, and her mother"s cooking. We are grateful to be able to fulfill her wish to donate her hair to the Canadian Cancer Society. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Italian Canadian Handicapable Association would be appreciated by the family. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9pm, and parish prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Services Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 8:45 am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for a 9:30am Funeral Mass. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
