Obituary of Edward Allan Delbert Dickens
DICKENS, Ed (Gub) It is with great sadness that the family of Ed Dickens announces his sudden passing, on November 22, 2010 at the young age of 59. Dearly loved and already greatly missed by his wife Bev Fortier-Dickens. Loving father to Byrd Dickens and wife Dylan, Scott Dickens and wife Kelly. Beloved grandfather to Erika and Ethan Dickens. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Doreen Dickens. Cherished brother to Les "Butch" Dickens and wife Barb, Heather Spezowka and husband Roy. Dear son in law to Barbara Soulliere and late husband John. Dearest brother in law to Patti and husband Jim Ferguson and Theresa Soulliere. Ed was a devoted employee to Chrysler Canada for over 40 years during which time he held many ranks. His musical passion was for the drums and he spread joy and happiness with his talent to play. We will all miss this great man for everything he gave us. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Officiating Rev. Kevin George. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
