IEROPOLI, Rocco Born in Cirella, Reggio Calabria, Italy, on July 6, 1932 Passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on November 14, 2010. Beloved husband of Assunta (nee Raco). Dearest father to Rosa Maria, and Franco and wife Donna (nee Crolla). Cherished nonno to Marco and Sabrina. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Marianna. Dear brother to Francesco and his late wife Maria Ieropoli (nee Mediati), late Maria and Domenico Mediati and the late Bruno and Ida Ieropoli (nee Gelonese). Dear brother-in-law of Gemma and Bruno Raco, Domenico and Maria Raco, of Mtl., Maria Troiano and late husband Francesco, of Mtl., Chiara Raco and late husband Mario, Giuseppina and husband Rocco Mediati, of Mtl., the late Giuseppe and Ellisabetta Raco, of Italy, the late Maria Rosa and Rocco Mediati, of Ohio, and the late Carmela Raco, of Ohio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 2 - 5 and 7- 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Fortuna, his staff and his wife for sharing him with us. The Comcare staff especially to all the nurses who went beyond the call of duty to make Rocco's life easier and more comfortable.
