FARACI, Maria (nee Vivona) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 10, 2010 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus at the age of 87 years. Dear wife of the late Pasquale (2007). Loving and devoted mother of Isidore and wife Mary, Mary and husband Vincenzo Mistretta, Stephen and Antony. Loving Nonna to Anthony and wife Fara, Anne and husband Paul Masojc, Andy, Rosemary and Daniel Tonenchi, Pasquale, Anthony and Daniel, Bis-nonna to Madelena, Michael and Portia. Dear sister of the late Stefano Vivona (2000) and wife Marianna (2000), Mattia and husband Vito Cusumano (2008), Sebastiano Vivona (1997) and wife Vincenza, Vincenza Taranto, Andrea Vivona and wife Lina (London), Anthony Vivona (2006) and wife Janet (London). Dearest sister-in-law of Elena (2003) and husband Giuseppe DiStefano (2002), Stefano (1999) and wife Antonina (Italy), Isidoro and wife Maria, Vito and wife Joann (Roseville, MI). Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A special thank you to the nurses at 4 North at Met Hospital and Dr. Zakaria for their care and compassion. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass for 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
