MACHNER, Katharina (Katie) (nee Dorn) Dein langes Leiden hat ein Ende, Erloest bist du von deiner Qual Wir drueckten deiner treuen Haende Auf dieser Welt zum letzenmal. It is with deepest sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of a devoted wife, most treasured mother, loving Oma and Uhr Oma. After a long and courageous battle mom succumbed to her illness at 84 years of age. Born on May 1, 1926 in Hidas, Ungarn. She passed away surrounded by and in the loving arms of her family on November 7, 2010 at Kensington Court. Devoted wife of 63 years to Ferdinand. Loving mother of Erika and husband Mark Grabb. Precious Oma to Melanie and husband Michael Israel, Jonathan LeMire, David and wife Jessica LeMire (St. Louis, MO). Loving Uhr Oma to Meagan "the little one" Israel. Predeceased in Germany by her son Erwin (1947), her parents Johann and Katharina Dorn, her brother Hans (1998), and her precious daughter Monika Nosanchuk (2001) Windsor. Survived by relatives in Windsor, California and Germany. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 TECUMSEH ROAD EAST (MAIN CHAPEL) on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5 until 9 p.m. Friends are requested to meet at First Lutheran Church,( 160 Giles Blvd. West at Victoria) on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Pastor Gilvan L. C. de Azevedo officiating. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery next to her precious daughter Monika. The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to St. Elizabeth nurses, C.C.A.C., and Hospice Care for all of your help, support and loving care provided to our Wife, Mother, Oma, and Uhr Oma.
