Obituary of Alexander Stefani

STEFANI, Alexander (Alex) Passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Pearce). Loving father of John and wife Dawn; and Maria, all of Windsor. Predeceased by parents Mario and Vincencina Stefani, and brother, Ralph Stefani. Dear brother-in-law of Charles and Marie Pearce, Frank and Anne Pearce, and predeceased by sister-in-law Helen Janisse, and her surviving husband Godfrey. Alex will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was retired from the former Roman Catholic Children's Aid Society following 29 years of dedicated service. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 7-9 pm, and on Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Assumption Church (350 Huron Church Rd., at University Ave., East) from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, would be appreciated by the family.
