To Candi & Family, I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family over your loss of Tom. I remember when Tom suffered his first heart attack a few years ago and had to be rushed to Beaumont Hospital in Detroit. I too, had a massive heart attack and had to be brought back to life twice with the electric shock paddles on my way to Henry Ford Hospital on December 23, 2008, Tom's Birthday. It was so ironic that on my first day back to work two months later that the first person I seen when I walked in the doors at G.M. was Tom. He smiled at me and said, ' welcome to the club," meaning the the heart attack club. We laughed and talked about our experiences. Tom and I both loved the old cars and would see each other at different car shows in the summer. The last time I saw Tom was at the G.M. celebration at the Ciccaro Club. They had a car show there and Tom had his Corvair in the show. That was back in May of this year and Tom and I talked for a while about the cars and G.M. closing this year. It is so saddening to open the paper and see one your friends in there that you have worked with for most of your adult life. We were like a big family at G.M. Tom was a good friend. To the family of Tom. I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Tom for many years and he always made me laugh. There was something about him that would make people light up at his presence. Tom will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Candi and family. I had the pleasure of dealing with Tom at work and he was always straight forward with his comments. I recall the days Miguel was born and how proud a Grandfather he was. Miguel was that sparkle in his eye and talked a lot about him while we worked together in Department 26. We joked around and I know he loved that Corvair. He will be missed...but I know his memories will never fade in your hearts. Sincerely, Tony Sisti

What a wonderful Man!! Husband!! Father!! Grandfather!! What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived.
