With a heavy heart, I say farewell Uncle Clem till we meet again. Can words be enough to console our cousins, Grant and Edna, Craig, and Bruce form so very far away? I write this sincere message from Toyonaka city, Osaka in Japan. I remembered talking and laughing with Uncle Clem on an extremely hot day at the end of August 2010. Though it was the hottest time of day, he'd decided to drive himself outdoors in that trusty electric chair of his and park in the shade of a tree just in front of La Chaumiere R. Home. With his typical candor and wit, he admonished me for talking about my "grand-furries'! That was Uncle Clem! May he rest in peace! May it comfort and sustain you, as are reminded of us caring and praying and supporting you in thought and in prayer, as you go through this time of sorrow! Sincerely, RoseMarie Lebert-Minamoto, and my dear ones Melissa Kei, Marianne Rei, and Micheal Hiroshi. as he breathed with discomfort. A few days later, I had to return to Osaka and the life I need to live here.
