STRATICHUK, Nicholas "Nick" August 25, 1925 - October 16, 2010 Passed away October 16, 2010, at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital, at the age of 85 years with family by his side. Dearest husband of 64 years to Dorothy. Beloved father of Kip ( Suzanne), Deb Broomfield (John). Cherished Gido of Timothy (Samantha), and Jeffrey (Sherry). Big Gido to Kyle, Ryan, Amanda, Karter, Kolin and waiting in heaven Kassie (2009). Dear brother to William (1990) and survived by his wife Violet and brother Robert. Brother-in-law to Mary Rubli (Morris). He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Nick was a member and elder of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Church and was retired from General Chemical after over 40 years of dedicated service. He was also a life long farmer in Anderdon Twp. and an avid Bronco's fan. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (2000 Tecumseh Rd. E.) until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
