Obituary of John Martin Charlesworth Wallace

WALLACE, John "Jack" Martin Passed away peacefully on September 25, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 86 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Doris (Muldoon) and his son Randy. Loved by his son Ross Wallace and wife Jan of Burlington, and his daughter Sherry Wallace. Survived by his sisters Rosslyn Brewster of Woodstock and Pat Venn of Owen Sound. Brother in law to Helen an Orville Mackey, Joyce Muldoon, and Margo Muldoon. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jack served Canada in World War II as a navigator in the Canadian Airforce. He returned home and started a long and successful career with Bell Canada for 43 years. After retirement he spent many happy days as a member of the Windsor Yacht Club, and the Windsor Flying Club. He also enjoyed travelling. His most memorable journeys included a trip around the world and a family African safari. Arrangements entrusted to the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) (519) 253-7234. At Jack"s request cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. There will be a celebration of his life on a later date.
