PERKS, Beatrice Bridget (nee Gillen) Passed away September 18, 2010, with her loving family at her side, at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 93 years. Dear wife of the late George Douglas (2000). Beloved mother of Diane Hamlin (Herb 2010), Linda Hamlin, Marianne Grayce (Phil), Suzanne Lawik (Jozef), Terry Jones (Leonard), and predeceased by one son Barry (1945). Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers James Gillen and John Gillen (Mary). Survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Beatrice loved being with her family, travelling, singing, gardening and dancing. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital - Emergency, and 7th Floor West. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, September 20, 2010, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
