Obituary of Gus Out

OUT, Gus Born in Enkhuizen, Netherlands on May 1, 1931 and passed away peacefully in Windsor, on March 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved husband and best friend of Wilhelmina Out (nee Dykstra) and they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on April 23, 2020. Loving father to Thelma Oldridge (Ken), Nick Out (Christy),John Out, Marion Out (deceased 1976), Robert Out, and Dr. Jennifer Out. Cherished Opa of Shawn and Michelle Oldridge, Ryan and Andrea Oldridge, Cory and Sasha Oldridge, Kiefer and Tiffany Out, Riley Out, and Liam Out and great Opa to Alenna, Brayden, Jackson, Kylie, Madelyn, and Hadleigh. Gus was an intelligent individual and had a passion for learning. He was an avid reader, and sports lover and was especially an enthusiastic supporter of Manchester City Soccer Club. He was the past president of both the Riverside Lions Club and the Dutch Canadian Club. He was also a member of the Canadian Anglo Club where he was an avid dart player. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. Further visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral service in our chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
