Obituary of Andrew Lescinsky

LESCINSKY, Andrew "Andy" A son, brother, husband, father, uncle, god father, friend, neighbour, tool & die maker. Passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2010 at Extendicare Southwood Lakes, where he spent many hours lovingly cared for by his devoted wife Helen. Adored father of Pat Lescinsky, Ron Lescinsky and Donna Holden (1989). Cherished grandfather to Robert Lescinsky. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Lescinsky, son-in-law of Joseph and Anna Bednarik, brother-in-law of John and Margaret Evans, brother of George and Caroline Leslie and his late granddaughter Tara Lescinsky (2000). Survived by brother-in-law Joe and wife Bonnie Bednarik, his brother Joe and wife Eileen Leslie. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, god children and his grand dogs Kenzie and Fiona. Andrew worked many years at Chrysler Canada as a tool and die make, until he retired. Then he enjoyed teaching his skills for a number of years at St. Clair College. He felt blessed to have many wonderful friends, and will now be joining his life long friends Milos, John and Todd, from the "Drouillard" day"s to golf and fish together again. Fond memories will be cherished by us all. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
