Obituary of Gladice Boivin

BOIVIN, Gladys (nee McNorton) 1914 - 2010 - 95 years Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, on July 23rd, 2010. Gladys has completed her final journey and is reunited with her husband Art (1980), son Yvon (1997) and daughter Lucille (Lucy) Schriener (2009), after a period of failing health. Surviving are her children Joan Barichello (Joe), Denis (Charlotte), Nicole (Tomas) and Janet Richert (Robert), 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Gladys has one remaining sister Gennieve McNeil in Victoria, B.C., and is predeceased by her parents Edward and Ida McNorton. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was a resident of Riverside Place. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, ( MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday July 26, 2010, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at 9:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Theresa Church (1991 Norman Rd.) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
