Dear Cogliati Family, After being away for a few days, I just returned home this evening to learn of the passing of this fine man. I am saddened to hear of this news and feel compelled to send my deepest sympathies to Brian's family, his loving wife Gail, his children Kimberley and Jeff and his dear sister Patty and all of their extended families. Brian was a gentle spirit who loved his family very much. He was artistic and kind and his spirit came through his music, his courage with his own personal journey and his love for all of you. I was privileged to know Brian through my brief work with him through Hospice. I learned from him not only through his own personal journey with cancer but his compassion for others as a fellow counselor. I admired and respected him as a professional and as a man living with some of the unfairness and uncertainties of life. The world is less of a place without Brian in it. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. May your memories keep you safe and warm and may you bring each other comfort at this time of need. As long as you have your memories, Brian will live forever. I am confident that he will continue to watch over all of you. God bless you Brian and may you rest in peace. In sympathy, Jackie
