Obituary of Helen Palenchuk

PALENCHUK, Helen (nee Kosior-Korol) After 98 wonderful years, Helen passed away on June 29, 2010 at Met Hospital. She will be reunited with her late husband Dmetro (1966). Loving mother of Nick (Margaret). Baba to Michael (Megan), Sheri and Beth Charron (Mike). Great Baba to Jorian, James and Taylor. Predeceased by siblings Ann, Mary, Nellie, Katie, Alex and Val (John). Also survived by niece Fran (Chicago) and Edward (Michigan). Helen was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, Zolota Zhoda, Leisha Ukrainka, and the Wednesday Perohe makers where she spent many hours with her dear friends. Many thanks to Southwood Lakes Extendicare, Dr. Ian McLeod, Dr. Wahby and the Activity Ladies at the Home. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
